Every bowl of ramen is made to order using house-made broths, fresh noodles and an assortment of toppings. We feature assari style lighter broths made with chicken.

We are locatedin Essex Junction, Vermont. We offer take out and delivery orders, but recomend you join us and dine in the restaurant for the best quality experience. A large gluten free ramen menu is available as well a vegan option.

“Onsen” is the Japanese word for the naturally occuring geothermal hot springs that dot the Japanese country side, the most famous of which is occupied by the Japanese Macaque. The Macaques lounge in the geothermal springs to stay warm in the winters. The onsen are such intrigal parts of Japanese winter that there is even a special way to cook an egg (“onsen tomago” in Japanese) that involves cooking it in a hot water bath and cracking it into your ramen. People use to cook their eggs in the onsen water as they relaxed and warmed up.
